Program
The workshop is a rally that takes place in the CITIM library. The young people are divided into different groups and given questionnaires. They find the answers in our library, where they have to search for books using the “a-z.lu” website to find the solutions to the questionnaire. At the end, each team has to present their results and we end with discussions on the different topics.
Methodological approaches
A library rally where youngsters have to do their own research.
Remarks
To understand global relations in our world, young people set out in small groups, using their cell phones and the «a-z.lu» website, to find answers to questions such as: what are the BRIC countries, what is colonialism, what is a multinational corporation, what is fair trade, etc.?.
In their research, young people will find a wide range of books and documentation in our library to help them find answers to their questions and tackle the most diverse themes of a global, interconnected world. Then, together, we'll establish links between the various elements to stimulate an exchange of ideas.
