«Living between tradition and modernity in the Brazilian Amazon‘
Objectives
Knowledge Discover the life and culture of the indigenous Xerente tribe (around 1,800 people) who live on the banks of the Rio Tocantins in the Brazilian Amazon on their own reserve, and who have preserved part of their traditional way of life while facing many difficulties: attacks by white settlers, road building, dam construction, etc.
Know-how Thinking together about different lifestyles (consumer society - living in harmony with nature, etc.).

Program
A unique two-hour activity.
Patrick Krãnipî GODAR spent four years living in Brazil, among others with the indigenous Xerente people in the Amazon. Through this concrete experience, he will present, in words and images, the life and culture of the Xerente.
