Objectives
The educational kit on soil explores the topic of soil and is designed to help teachers and educators discuss this subject with groups of children. A theoretical section is followed by a hands-on outdoor activity.
Program
The theoretical part:
It helps children learn basic facts about the soil as a habitat in a fun way. Through a variety of small activities and games, they learn just how important the soil is to us, animals, and plants.
The practical part:
The second part of the kit is designed for outdoor use. The children are expected to apply and expand upon the theoretical knowledge they have acquired. In this part, the children collect samples, identify invertebrates, and take a closer look at soil structure.
Methodological approaches
Rediscover the soil—with an interactive mural and everything you need to observe, touch, and understand the life it harbors.
Remarks
The educational kit is intended for people aged 8 to 99.
