Program
The «Industrialized Global Food System» workshop helps students understand how our food is produced, processed, transported, and consumed on a global scale. Through an interactive approach, students learn about the historical evolution of agriculture, the mechanisms of industrial agriculture, and the effects of globalization on our food systems.
Methodological approaches
Through a timeline activity, an analysis exercise, thematic cards, and a large MindMap, participants analyze the economic, social, and environmental impacts associated with this model. The workshop concludes with a group discussion and potential solutions aimed at envisioning more sustainable and equitable food systems. The workshop lasts 120 minutes (can be adapted to 100 minutes).
