Objectives

- Introduce students to sexual and reproductive rights and explain the impact of gender discrimination on violations of these rights.
- Make them aware of their right to freely dispose of their bodies.
- Mobilize students in concrete ways and give them the opportunity to show their solidarity with people whose sexual and reproductive rights have been violated.
Program
During a workshop, we introduce students to sexual and reproductive rights through the illustration of real cases. Forced marriage, gender discrimination, sexual violence and other issues are addressed. Pupils are made aware of the differences between the realities of various countries around the world. In the final part of the workshop, students are given the opportunity to mobilize and carry out a solidarity action.
Methodological approaches
Interactive workshop with powerpoint support. Debate, brainstorming, games, actions: students are actors who can each contribute to the promotion and respect of human rights.
Teaching aids: teaching aids for teachers wishing to discuss sexual and reproductive rights with their students. The kit includes numerous testimonials and action sheets for the classroom. The kit is accompanied by a workbook.
Remarks
- Our offer is not set in stone. We can adapt to the interests and needs of teachers and their students, to the best of our ability.
- The teaching pack can either be used independently by teachers wishing to raise awareness of sexual and reproductive rights among their students, or as a prelude to a workshop.
