Objectives
The aim is to encourage participants to question the current organization of major international economic bodies (companies, states and institutions), and to guide them towards citizen action to reduce these inequalities. The game takes a holistic view of issues such as international trade, international solidarity and human rights, all of which are interconnected.
Program
Students are divided into groups proportional to the actual population of five geographical regions of the world. Once in place, the animators allocate them the resources available (water, food, energy), according to the realities of each region.
Discussions and negotiations between the groups follow, with the aim of reducing the glaring inequalities.
External speakers - such as representatives of the World Trade Organization or the indigenous Aka people - introduce specific themes that influence the dynamics of the game and encourage participants to adjust their decisions in real time.
The course of the game is never the same: the students are the main players, actively participating in its evolution according to their choices, strategies and external events.
