Objectives
During this two-hour interactive workshop, children learn in a fun and creative way how to use resources—especially plastic—in a sustainable manner. Resource conservation and the circular economy are at the heart of this workshop.
Program
Part 1 with Ëmweltberodung Lëtzebuerg a.s.b.l.: What happens to our waste if we don’t sort it properly? And how can we protect our environment through recycling, upcycling, and zero waste? Children learn in a fun way why conserving resources is important and how best to put it into practice.
Part 2 with DropCycle a.s.b.l.: Children learn about different types of plastic and, using a real plastic-melting machine, transform plastic waste into new, useful objects. In this hands-on way, they learn how what we consider «trash» can be turned into something valuable—and that sustainability can also be a lot of fun!
Methodological approaches
The workshop can be reserved for your parties, events, classes, or groups. It’s ideal for engaging children, from elementary school through adolescence.
During the session, the group is divided into two so that the more theoretical part and the practical part can be alternated.
The price for a workshop is 640 €. In addition, there is a one-time flat fee of 420 € for preparation and transportation.
