Objectives
Module 1: «Agriculture» game»
Students develop and manage a farm as they travel back in time from 1880 to the present day. This interactive game takes into account the agrarian and technological methods of the time, as well as the economic, ecological and social consequences of their decisions.
Module 2: «Analysis of the landscape and geology of Marienthal».»
Students analyze the landscape and geology of Marienthal and review the history of land use. Using the results of soil and biodiversity analyses, students will estimate the impact of agricultural activity on ecosystems.
Module 3: «Landscape analysis and available resources».»
This module is particularly suitable for 4th/3rd GSO classes. Using a map system, students are asked to find the resources they need to survive in the Eisch valley. An analysis of the landscape will enable them to draw up simplified land-use plans to guarantee their needs in the event of a prolonged stay on Marienthal soil.
