Program
We are all constantly confronted with images of other people, professions, ethnicities, genders, etc. Our opinions on these matters are therefore largely formed subliminally and unconsciously. Using targeted exercises, we confront learners with their images, prejudices and ignorance in a concrete way.
Nous travaillons ensemble sur l’influence (négative) des médias et de l’intelligence artificielle sur notre image et nos relations mutuelles.
The Inuit of Canada are not immune to these prejudices on our part. By analysing Arctic social media channels, learners discover contemporary Inuit culture. They gain insight into today's realities that go beyond standardised clichés.
Finally, we will discuss the impact of our clichés on the Inuit, but also on our fellow human beings.
Methodological approaches
-Drawings based on (our ignorance or) our knowledge
-Reflection and discussion on this knowledge, ignorance
-Reflection and discussion on (social) media and how they influence our perception of others
-Analysis of social media channels of people living in the Arctic and active in the public sphere.
