The aim is to encourage the construction of a global, complex and critical view of our world-system.
current.
Program
Get ready to embark on the surprising and complex journey of «panties» production. This product
that we buy in department stores is linked to the distant. A surprising journey around the world
world that brings us face to face with the Other through the prism of 3 major dominations: patriarchal domination, the "other" and the "other".
capitalist domination and racial domination.
In the reel game, students form a large circle, connected to each other by a string (the «reel») that they hold in their hands. Each student represents a global actor or reality (country, institution, resource, population, etc.). With each thematic intervention or event (e.g. climate change, resource exploitation, international trade), the spool is passed from one person to another, according to the links between cause and effect. The thread thus weaves a visual network illustrating global interdependencies and imbalances. The game highlights inequalities and invites students to reflect collectively on possible levers of action.
