• Identify the messages conveyed by the cartoons analyzed.

• Understand other perspectives on the situations illustrated by the cartoons;
• To compare the situations illustrated in the cartoons with the lives we lead every day;
• Adopt a structured approach to the problem at hand.

In terms of soft skills, participants will be able to :

• To understand that we live in an interconnected system and that our actions can have a positive or negative impact on our «common home»;
• The need to promote sustainable development in our daily lives.

The aim of this workshop is to promote sustainable development and move towards a global, mutually supportive coexistence. Numerous artists have drawn attention to the challenges of our time in the form of caricatures, giving rise to the exhibition entitled «Brilliant Perspectives». Their artistic works take a humorous and critical look at various thematic areas.

This educational tool enables participants to discover interesting activities and discussions based on the cartoons, as well as a creative and achievable path towards a better common future, and to take their first steps.

In the workshop, we use the cartoons from «Bright Perspectives» and focus on one of 4 themes: Meat consumption and food, climate change, consumption and lifestyle, marine/plastic waste management. However, other themes can be adapted if you wish.

Depending on the course of the activities, this interactive workshop offers the public the chance to confront their feelings through group work, discussion, active listening and artistic expression.
