Objectives

Understanding and Taking Action to Decarbonize Our Transportation
The Mobility Mural is a collaborative and fun workshop that helps participants better understand the carbon footprint of our travel and explore practical solutions for adopting more sustainable mobility.

During this participatory workshop led by LuxMobility, participants will work together to map out the mobility landscape and analyze the connections between transportation, climate, energy, and society. The goal is to gain a better understanding of current challenges and identify actionable steps that everyone can take.

Accessible to both beginners and experts alike, the Fresque allows us to take a step back and reflect on our travel habits and imagine alternatives better suited to the Luxembourg context.

Program

What's on the agenda
An Overview of Mobility
What percentage of our carbon footprint is attributable to transportation? Which modes of transportation are most prevalent today? What energy sources power our mobility? What are the impacts on the climate, health, and the economy?

A Concrete Action Plan
Participants learn about the various ways to reduce the carbon footprint of transportation, both on an individual and collective level.

A fun and inspiring experience
Through a role-playing exercise, become a “mobility coach” and help people from different backgrounds adopt lower-carbon travel habits.

Methodological approaches

A workshop open to everyone

Citizens, organizations, local governments, students, and businesses: The Mobility Mural is for anyone who wants to better understand the challenges of mobility and help come up with solutions for the future.

This workshop is part of the “Let’z do it – Sustainable Mobility” program, which explores concrete solutions at the Äerdschëff to reduce the environmental footprint of travel in Luxembourg.
