In terms of knowledge, participants will be able to :

• broaden their knowledge of the African continent and African cultures.
• discover some of the continent's opportunities and challenges.

In terms of know-how, participants will be able to :

• to encounter other cultures with respect and non-judgment.
• analyze stereotypes and preconceived ideas, learning how to deconstruct them.

In terms of interpersonal skills, participants will be able to :

• take a stand against preconceived ideas and argue in a reasoned manner
• to be citizens of the world capable of disseminating the knowledge they have acquired about Africa with a capital A.

The «Cultures en rencontre» workshop promotes intercultural exchange and encounters with the diversity of the African continent.

Today's citizens are confronted with other cultures on a daily basis. This educational workshop is specifically designed to pass on knowledge about the African continent. In addition to eliminating stereotypes, this tool is a good way of familiarizing oneself with different cultures and encouraging intercultural exchanges between participants.

Depending on how the activities unfold, this interactive workshop offers the public the chance to tackle the subject through discussion, two testimonials from the field (mine and a short video), active listening and oral expression.
