Objectives
La Robbesscheier is committed to transmitting educational, social and environmental values through its workshops and activities. By offering fun and educational experiences based on animals, regional know-how and local heritage, it contributes to quality education, promoting health and well-being, and raising awareness of nature conservation.
The workshops promote inclusion and equality by welcoming all children and families, and support the local economy by promoting local products and traditional skills. Through its work with draft horses, Robbesscheier encourages sustainable and environmentally friendly practices, reducing its ecological footprint and raising awareness of climate issues among younger generations.
In this way, each activity contributes to creating a positive impact on the community, nature and the future of children, embodying several sustainable development goals in concrete terms.
Program
Activity programs are chosen according to the age of the children and the interest of the facilities. We have short workshops to discover certain themes, but also programs with longer workshops that enable us to go more deeply into a particular theme. We can also integrate more physical activities such as the DéierenOlympiaad to create a mixed program. The workshops on offer include, for example, the discovery of rural skills such as farriery, the old bakery and the sawmill, as well as workshops in wool weaving, garden management, harvesting and production. A bee-keeping course, discovery of farm animals, horse-drawn carriage rides, ceramics,...
La Robbesscheier offers its own self-catering gite for school classes and schools, as well as its own restaurant serving vegetables from the estate's kitchen gardens.
