Workshop description:
«At the table! From field to plate»
This activity is designed to raise awareness of consumption patterns and of the inequalities in access to food around the world. The aim is to develop students' critical faculties with regard to consumption and the advertising messages conveyed by the media, and to make them aware of the repercussions of consumption practices, the direct consequences of which are North/South inequalities and the exploitation of human and environmental resources.
Through a variety of fun and educational activities, students will be shown the link between production and consumption, and the role they can play as responsible consumers in their daily lives in Luxembourg through small actions.
