oekozenter.luOrganization visions
From knowledge to action - The Oekozenter Pafendall aims to be a place of further education, as well as a meeting place for the exchange of ideas on social issues of the future. With its projects, seminars and campaigns, the Oekozenter Pafendall stimulates and advises private individuals, local authorities, the business sector and young people (education / organizations).
Experiences
We have ten years' experience in secondary education, teaching climate protection and nature conservation in the context of energy efficiency, natural resources and sustainable living. Our workshops are modular. They contain lectures and interactive exercises (usually the complete package). Teachers can suggest a thematic focus. A popular topic is resource extraction and its consequences.
Missions of the organization
Oekozenter Pafendall has a full-time, multi-disciplinary team with expertise in sustainable agriculture, building and living, sustainable living and consumption, green localities and the “Climate Pact”. They carry out projects and awareness-raising campaigns, advise private individuals, municipalities, the youth sector (education and organizations) and the business sector, and organize seminars/conferences and workshops for young people. At the same time, the center features an extensive conference and continuing education program. A specialized library open to the public completes the educational offer.

Organization objectives
Through our expertise and youth projects, we aim to contribute to education for sustainable development. Our materials (presentations, documents, exercises) remain available to teachers, enabling them to use the material in their lessons. Shared experiences are integrated into our work for the benefit of all.
