Experiences
Since 2007, Chrétiens pour le Sahel has been running global citizenship education initiatives in Luxembourg: school workshops, exhibitions and events for the general public on North-South interdependence, sustainability and solidarity.
Chrétiens pour le Sahel has developed a number of ESD-related awareness-raising projects, notably on access to water, education and food security in the Sahel. Activities combine testimonies, teaching aids and intercultural exchanges to encourage international solidarity and a better understanding of the challenges of sustainable development.
Missions of the organization
Support the people of the Sahel through local development projects in the fields of water, education, health and food security.
Promote international solidarity in Luxembourg by raising awareness among young people and the general public of the challenges of sustainable development and social justice.
