Organization visions

The association takes respect for the environment into account when setting up and developing its socio-economic activities. Respect for mankind implies respect for and protection of natural resources and the environment, which is why ESD plays a fundamental role. Through our educational gardens, we aim to raise children's awareness, from an early age, of their impact on nature, their potential to influence their environment and the role they can play in protecting natural resources.

Experiences

  • Groups of children and young people (from crèches to high-school students and senior citizens) can visit our gardens.
  • Setting up and monitoring a network of educational gardens in schools and extracurricular establishments (www.leierenamgaart.lu).
  • Training for teachers working with their classes in a school garden.
  • Training people in community gardens.
