The «Centre écologique et touristique Parc Housen» is located in the heart of nature on a high plateau (altitude 500 m) in the middle of the Ösling (Luxembourg Ardennes). A vast forest stretches to the east of the park towards the Our river and beyond towards Germany. The center's exceptional location on the edge of the vast forest invites Green Class participants to explore and discover the typical Ösling natural environment with its flora and fauna. They can also take advantage of nearby cultural, tourist and sporting attractions.

Organization objectives
The aim of Classes vertes is to stimulate students' interest in nature, the environment and science through
all the senses. Combining fun and age-appropriateness, we're able to
try to contribute to the development of
young adults responsible for their future.
Classes vertes activities consist of
to offer Luxembourg's basic schools a varied program from one to
a few days for :
- students learn to understand, respect and appreciate nature
- the class lives the sense of community
- children learn about realities
geographical, historical and cultural
in the natural environment
All the proposed activities are related to the competencies in the study plan.

Remarks
1. Youth hostel
Discover a variety of rooms with breakfast (56 beds on three levels: 2 singles, 9 doubles and 9 quadruples) that offer ample space for groups or sports or music colonies. Each room has its own bathroom and lockers.

The bar, equipped with a comfortable TV area and table soccer, can also be hired for private parties.
4. Seminar and conference rooms
Three fully-equipped seminar rooms and a large conference room provide the ideal space for your training, event or information session.
On-site catering (coffee breaks, drinks, lunch or dinner) can also be booked.
5. Sport
Action and fun in our facilities: multisports and gymnasiums, tennis, padel and soccer courts, climbing wall, adventure pool, outdoor fitness park or beach volleyball court (5 km away).
