AEIN is motivated by the profound conviction that it is possible to build a fairer society throughout the world. Every individual has the responsibility and duty to contribute to this construction, in India and Nepal as well as in Europe.
Experiences
AEIN has over 20 years' experience in raising awareness and promoting ESD. AEIN organizes an average of thirty workshops in schools every year. AEIN has also mounted several major exhibitions,
including child labor and the culture of the indigenous Warli people.

Organization objectives
The aim is twofold: to encourage a commitment to solidarity based on the defense of universal human rights in favor of the most deprived sections of the populations of India and Nepal, who are excluded from the political and economic life of their respective societies; and to encourage critical reflection on our way of life and its direct or indirect consequences on the lives of the peoples of the South.
Remarks
AEIN is managed by 4 permanent staff members
and some twenty volunteers involved in
several working groups (projects, awareness-raising,
communication) and the Board of Directors.
Since 1967, AEIN has been active in
India, and over the past 25 years it has gradually
expanded its operations in Nepal.
AEIN currently supports more than 20 projects
development, with a budget of
of nearly 1.3 million euros and leads
in Luxembourg.
