Climate change is already affecting public health in Luxembourg through heat, air pollution, extreme weather events, and longer-term impacts on living conditions, while at the same time the health sector itself plays an important role in mitigation and adaptation efforts. Addressing these interconnected challenges requires not only the latest scientific evidence but also close collaboration between researchers, health professionals, policymakers, municipalities, and civil society actors. Join us at the Climate Change and Health Symposium and Workshop on July 7.

The Luxembourg Climate Youth Network brings together motivated high school students from across the country to discuss climate protection and sustainable development. The third film in SCRIPT’s awareness-raising and documentary series has just been released. Watch the video «Klimabildung: Klimawandel verstoen, Resilienz stäerken, handelen» here and discover a wealth of workshops, educational materials, and specialized literature on the topic.

During the 2025–2026 school year, more than 450 young people between the ages of 6 and 25 got involved in climate protection and raising awareness about climate change. They carried out projects that were as creative as they were innovative. The young people shared their ideas at the awards ceremony on June 8 and 9, 2026, at the Geesseknäppchen Forum. To raise awareness about climate protection, 37 ActionTeams carried out a wide variety of projects, including greening their high school campuses, organizing clothing swaps, promoting foraging, developing upcycling projects, and simulating a global climate conference..
